The waterfall
filter is a molded rectangular tank filled with filter media that
serves both as a pond filter and as the headwaters for a
waterfall. The filter is normally dug into a hillside above the
pond, but if the site is relatively flat, it can be set on the
ground and earth from the pond excavation can be used to create a
hillside around it. Works well as a starting point to streams.
