Bulkhead
fittings make water-tight connections from plumbing to flexible
pond liner, fiberglass, plastic or filter containers. Each
bulkhead comes
with fitting, rubber gasket and nut.
Black bulkheads are hard to see
in ponds using black liners and have a longer life span in
sunlight...

a bulkhead when connecting a barrel filter to pump.

to assemble the bulkhead in the sequence shown here.

With an
ink pen or marker, draw inside the nut for the pattern
to be cut out.
|
|
|
|
With a
utility knife, cut inside the line to provide a
starting place for scissors. Using scissors, be
sure to cut out 1/16" more then the line just drawn.

|
That's it !
Be sure
to assemble the bulkhead in the sequence shown in the
above diagram. |
